Nancy Travers’ efforts in Westchester County, culminating with evidence based policy changes put in place in 2001, have drastically reduced homelessness for both individuals and families. Nancy discussed these programs at a recent event sponsored by New Yorkers for Ending Homelessness, and answered questions on the implementation and pitfalls of changing the way we address homelessness on a large scale.
